The Agreement is made between ______________________________________________________________ (Customer) and WEDDING DAY RENTALS A SUBSIDIARY OF AR GROUP OF COMPANIES LTD. (Vendor)
The normal Rental Period is one (1) day. For events scheduled on Saturday, your items will be available (by appointment only- after 5 pm) on the Friday before your event and returned the following Sunday before 5 pm. All items will be cleaned, packed securely and ready for you to pick up at the pre-determined reserved time. Extended rentals are also available but not guaranteed.
To reserve your items, please telephone us at 823-6267. A down payment of 35% of the total Rental Agreement is required to secure your date and the items selected. Please note: ALL DOWN PAYMENTS to reserve your items are NON-REFUNDABLE, as your reservation of an item secures the item for you and prevents us from renting that item to any other client for your rental period.
The remaining 65% of the total Rental Agreement must be paid 14 days prior to the event date. In addition to the remaining balance due, a SECURITY DEPOSIT of 35% of the total Rental Agreement or $100 whichever is greater will be required with the exception of linens. ALL LINENS MUST BE PAID FULLY ONE (1) MONTH IN ADVANCE. If linens are paid for less than one month in advance a rush fee minimum of one dollars hundreds (BSD $100) , depending on quantity of linens requested. The Security Deposit must be a separate payment and will be held to cover the cost of any damages incurred to items while in your care. If all items are returned safely without damage, your payment will be returned to you upon receipt of items or within five (5) business days from the end of the rental period.
We will make every attempt to have available the items you have selected but due to unforeseen problems, such as breakage, we have the right to make substitutions to a similar item of quality and value.
A packing slip with items rented will be given to each client at time of pick up. Items should be returned in the same manner they were received.
If you are holding your event outdoors or a private venue to where you will not be cleaning up until the following day, specialty items such as Chandeliers or furniture must be moved indoors or to a covered area to prevent damage from rain or humidity. Furniture and Items must NOT be kept outside in the elements overnight.
Important - It is also up to the client to make sure other individuals helping with your event understand the terms and agreement.
REFUNDS
There will be no refunds or credit issued for cancellations of event, inclement weather or for any items that has been reserved but unused. Please review your items carefully on the Rental Agreement for the once items are agreed upon, they cannot be cancelled.
CLEANING POLICY:
China, Stemware and Serving Items: All items must be returned clean. China and Silver Items must be washed by hand and not in the dishwasher. All items must be washed with dish liquid and no grease marks or residue should remain after cleaning all items.
For the clients who prefer less hassle, China and other items can be returned uncleaned - with advanced notice. (We ask that you remove any food from the items) for a hand washing fee of $.35 per item or dish.
Linens: Linens are not to be laundered by the client. Please place linens in a large plastic bag(s) for travel.
RENTAL REQUIREMENTS FOR PICK UP
Rentals must be picked up in a secure vehicle. Some larger items such as backdrops or furniture may require a truck. If you are renting large items, please bring bungee cords or tie downs to secure the items in the back of your vehicle. Protective sheets or material may be used to properly transport the items and must be returned.
DELIVERY FEE AND/OR PICK UP FEE
We offer a delivery and/or pick up service for the following fee of forty dollars (BSD$40) for linens and china and must be agreed upon in advance for scheduling. Furniture is determined upon quantity and location.
RETRUN POLICY
Linens – all items must be returned in original packaging or large plastic bag. All Chair sashes must be returned untied. For every sash that is retuned tied a fifty cents ($0.50) charge will be applied. If linens are heavily soiled or have been damaged during the event, the security deposit will be held until items are laundered. After which time if the items have been permanently damaged or stained a percentage of the deposit will be taken out to replace the item(s).
Glassware& Chinaware - all items must be returned in the packaging they were received in it. For every storage box that is not returned a fifteen dollars ($15.00) penalty fee will be applied. If any item is broken or damaged, the above-mentioned customer will incur the market price cost of the box, as these particular items are purchased by the box and not individually; as well has shipping and handling for the items.
A count will be taken by the vendor once all items are returned before the pre –determined security deposit is retuned.
LATE FEE
If the rental items are not returned on the agreed upon date, a $50.00 late fee per day will be accessed.
RETURN CHECK FEE
$30.00 fee will be accessed for any check returned from your bank for insufficient funds.
MISCELLANEOUS
The client agrees that Wedding Day Rentals holds no liability for any damage or injury caused by the use of rental items to renter or any third party. The client assumes all risk of personal property damage or personal injury.
DISCLAIMER
Wedding Day Rentals’ furniture is kept in good condition. Use at your own risk. User accepts risk of all liability of damage and injury for any and all occurrences while property is in your care, custody and control.
PHOTOGRAPHY RELEASE
By accepting these terms listed in this agreement, you agree to allow Wedding Day Rentals permission to use photos that we take at your event on our websites, social media sites, advertisements, etc. with the understanding that you will not profit from them in any way.
BALANE DUE:
If any outstanding balance is due, both parties will agree about a date for final payment. Failing to comply will be result in legal action be taken and any fees incurred will be the responsibility of the above-mentioned customer. There will also be a late fee of thirty dollars per day until the balance is paid in full.
Any deposit received will constitute this agreement and acceptance of terms.
